U.S. Embassy Supports Youth Experimental Art Festival

Within the framework of the project “Development” funded by U.S. Embassy Small Grants Program the NGO “Youth Public Association “ABC Entrepreneurship” opened a five day festival of youth experimental art projects “Fun House” on March 31, 2010. The festival program includes art performances, fashion and design shows, hairstyle battles, body art shows, photo expositions, musical concerts and DJ sets. The “Fun House” is the first such festival supported by the U.S. Embassy Small Grants Program in Belarus. It aims at developing innovative ideas and self-actualization in cultural sphere, strengthening cross sectoral partnership and stimulating public dialog on contemporary art issues. Acting PAO Emily Ronek in her opening remarks noted the importance of such events, as well as the creativity and  originality of the presented works.
