The second American Trivia Night, held by US Embassy Minsk on July 30, evoked a great interest among university students, recent college graduates and young professionals.  Despite the hot weather and vacation season, over 35 contestants on nine teams got together at Ferz Café’s courtyard to test their knowledge of American culture, literature, music, history, and other topics. This time a number of teams showed equally strong knowledge and The Crazy Bees team, comprised of the Belarusian State University recent graduates, took the victory by just one point.  The four winners were awarded special prizes provided by the Embassy, which included a set of English language and American studies resource materials. Following an intense two-hour intellectual marathon, the Trivia Night participants commended the Embassy’s effort to promote outreach programs for the youth and expressed their willingness to participate in similar events in the future.
