Ambassador Krol Donates Equipment to Minsk Orphanage

On October 21 U.S. Ambassador George Krol visited Children's Orphanage #6 in Minsk, Belarus, to donate a multimedia projector, screen and 90 backpacks to the institution. Addressing the Deputy Director of the orphanage, the staff and about 50 children, Ambassador Krol presented the U.S. donation and recalled the kids' visit to his residence earlier in the year. After the presentation, the children put on a short performance of both Belarusian and American music, dance and poetry. Then the deputy director gave the Ambassador, DCM Connie Phlipot, PAO Dian McDonald and other U.S. Embassy representatives a tour of the facility.
