Embassy of the United States of America to the Republic of Belarus announces a vacancy for an Executive Chef

Duties include: The successful candidate will be required to perform all duties necessary to receive guests and visitors.  Duties include, but are not be limited to, daily official and regular cooking of a range of international cuisine, including baking cookies, cakes and pastries as necessary, (recipes may be provided) for dinners, luncheons and other receptions at official Mission venues; ordering adequate food supplies; shopping for groceries, etc.  The selected candidate will be responsible for serving food and drinks to visitors as well as to other diplomatic personnel.
Work schedule: Full-time (40 hours a week).
Education: A relevant vocational study beyond secondary school education is required.
Experience: A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience is required.
Language: A working level of English is highly desireable.
Skills and Abilities: Work flexibility, ability to work for high-level customers and at high level events, ability to work under pressure, excellent organizational skills are required.  Use of privately owned vehicle and a valid driver’s license is highly desireable.
