Members of the International Communication Action and Networking Club Learn about American Life First-Hand

Acting PAO Emily Ronek met with a group of English language enthusiasts, all members of the International Communication Action and Networking (ICAN) Club, on April 6. This is the second real-life interaction with the U.S. officers in the framework of the Embassy Speaker program that is taking place in the IBA Training Center in Minsk. During the interactive program in a form of a public debate, participants discussed future of the U.S.-Belarus relations, unique Belarusian culture and the status of the Belarusian language, etc. They also had a lively discussion of inter-cultural differences between American and Belarusian people, American life and hobbies.  After a two-hours meeting participants sincerely thanked Emily Ronek for a real-life communication and an opportunity to learn about the United States first-hand.
