U.S. Embassy Accepting Applications for the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation Program
The United States Embassy in Belarus is accepting applications for the Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation competition. This prestigious U.S. Government program has provided direct grant support for cultural heritage preservation projects throughout the world since 2001.
The competition is open to Belarusian non-governmental, non-commercial organizations, institutions of culture, museums and other establishments. Funded activities, among others, include restoration of historic buildings, archaeological site preservation, assessment and conservation of museum collections, , preservation of threatened traditional crafts, songs and dances, improved storage conditions for archives and manuscripts, preservation of archaeological and ethnographic objects, paintings, sculptures, manuscripts, and documentation of indigenous languages.
Organizations interested in applying should submit their proposals in English and Belarusian (Russian), put together in accordance with the guidelines here, to the electronic address firstname.lastname@example.org not later than January 10, 2016.
